Town Meeting Tuesday AND County Meeting Thursday

TUESDAY Night at 7:30 PM is the Waverly Town Council Meeting. Make sure you are in attendance so we can keep the new council members AND the Mayor aware that WE care about what they are doing and how they are managing our town, its resources and our tax dollars. According to a recent article in the SSD Mayor Mason says everything is fine in Waverly … IS IT???

  

Also THURSDAY Night at 7:30 PM is the Sussex County Board of Supervisors meeting. Maybe Mr. Tyler will explain how county funds were spent to advertise a “special called meeting” on August 9^th when he knew in advance that 3 Board of Supervisors were NOT going to be able to attend. Sure enough, money and time was spent to have 3 Board Members along with County Management show up at the courthouse all for nothing as there were only 3 in attendance and therefore a meeting could NOT be held. WHAT WAS THE REASON BEHIND THIS?? I don’t trust that this was in the county’s best interest but just another attempt to try and get something passed under a cloak of “darkness”.

If you can’t be there why not contact your representative and ask them why it is YOUR tax dollars are NOT being spent wisely, and what games are being played at OUR expense.
