The Fix was in!

The fix was in!

Waverly Town Mayer Mason manipulates the new town council to bid his will and Chief Lands is terminated. After nearly an hour of comments from citizens  85% being in support of the Chief and the entire police department the council goes into closed session. When they emerged from the closed session you just knew the fix was in and decisions were made long before this night. All other employees of the Town were offered extensions of their employment except Chief Lands. You just knew this was how it was going down as Mason was so nervous he mumbled his way through trying to get the council to do his dirty work.
I will be posting many video clips along with pictures and additional notes from the meeting. I will need to review the proceedings because I do believe that the motion to dismiss Chief Lands was not done according to proper procedures and therefore should be nonbinding. Oh they will correct their inexperienced miss conduct at a later time but at least it should be noted that as of tonight their actions appear to not be proper and legal.

  1. I think the town meeting was a joke and the town members disrespected the citizens of the town! The meetings are to better the town and to inform the citizens of the town on what is going on in and what can we do TOGETHER to make it better. But how can that be when they don't even involve the people of the town they excluded the citizens as if they didn't care about our opinions or our involvement to know what's going on in our town. I think that meeting was a prime example how selected officials in this town do things their way and not the right way. They talk about how the officers help to bring a truce between Waverly and Wakefield (notice I didn't say gang) but can't bring a truce amongst themselves. If we would have waited for them to resolve the altercation it would still be going on just like it has for the last year. And far as the situation with Chief Lands, now he knows how it feels to be looked at wrong when all that you are trying to do is right. They talk about these videos that 3Da Hard Way has put out, but what are they doing to get the youth attention what are they doing to get the youth involved in something. Yes it's some bad things in these videos but good things can come from it. Since we are on the subject of good things, name one place throughout the whole Sussex County where you can take your family on your time and enjoy yourself. Just ONE place is all I ask! We as a town would be a whole lot better if we would LOVE & RESPECT one another instead of JUDGING & trying to DISRESPECTING one another. I think the only problem the WPD has is their lack of respect for people. I strongly believe the Chief would still be in office if he knew how to respect people, we're innocent until proven guilty, not guilty until proven innocent! Respect goes further than love and hate, and everyone should be treated with good customer service no matter who they are we all are people! And those of you who are selected to high positions stop thinking you're above the rest because we all walk on the ground no human is born flying. Let's just do what we suppose to do and do it right and fair. In other words to keep your job do your job. This was posted by BRIAN TAYLOR so there would be no conflicts. There would be a meeting at the Masonic Hall on Railroad Avenue in Waverly on July 18@7pm the meeting is about our community and bringing our youth support. If anyone like to comment on what I've written you can email me at man4bde@gmail.com

  3. I came to meeting and could not get in, but wish I could have spoke because I would have told you how chief of police and exmayor had me arrested and said that I had felonies in my record from over 30 years ago and sent me to sussex county jail, when the chief dropped me off there they ran my back round check and said I had none on my record, I already new that, but I still had to stay there towait for judge to see me, well exmayor had conections at court so they kept me for 5 days before seeing a judge, well if the chief cannot read my police records we dont need him or maybe he can read but is easy to influence by high up people, eather way I dont want other people put in jail like me by the chief for lies or he or someone doesnt like you
